Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I bought the mesh 3 pack a little over a week ago. The hook up was easy and it has not missed a beat since. We always had dead spots on the upper level, which is the farthest from the router. After the hook up the signal is as strong on the upper level as it is next to the router. Buy it! You will not be disappointed.

Researched wifi extenders and net gear was at the top of the list. I had a NG router but it was 5 years old. Spectrum cable tech reccomended the mesh system, i was sold. My house is a ranch with a huge garage and a separate work shop. Mesh satelite system allows for signal to reach the far end of the shop…..almost 150′ from the modem. Easy to install and the armor protection firmware is flawless.

I am using my Netgear nighthawk for about a month now and I am super impressed by the coverage and speed of the device. With by old router I used to get less download speed in wifi but after switching to nighthawk I am getting about 100mbps more speed in wifi downloads. The satellite works perfectly and gives the same speed on the top floor. Super cool!

I have a 2600 sqft home and the cable/modem/router combination that I was using before didn’t cover a couple of the bedrooms very well and didn’t cover the garage at all.
