Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I had a lot of trouble with Wi-Fi in my home and recently upgraded my router to this Nighthawk mesh system. Wi-Fi is running flawless with no dropped signal. Best part is you can hardwire from the satellites as well so my son and I both have our Xbox’s in different parts of the home hardwired and my wife’s work computer is hardwired from her office. Works great

It took a little trouble shooting to get the satellites to connect but once I updated the firmware and made some other small adjustments I now no longer have dead zones in the various rooms that I was having trouble connecting to wifi in.
