Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Easy set-up – can be completed in 10 minutes or less. Even if you’re not a tech savvy individual, the step by step process in the app walks you through the hassle free installation. My wifi has never been so fast. It’s sleak and rather small, which makes it easy to conceal – even if the router is sitting on on top of your entertainment center. Would recommend to anyone from someone looking to upgrade their 5 year old router to the highest of internet users such as gamers and those that rely heavily upon streaming services for entertainment. My house is 2700 sq ft and the outlet for the modem is in an awkward spot of the house. My husband is a PC gamer and relies heavily on a clear and fast connection but because he could only connect through wifi due to the modem not being where his studio is, he experienced a lot of lagging and intermittent connection. Once we connected this mesh system, he was able to hardwire his PC into one hub and I have the other one in my office and we not only have super fast connection, but we have stopped experiencing internet drop outs and his game no longer lags. I would recommend this to anyone who is in need of a device in order to enhance their connection problems where a wifi extender just won’t do, as we have tried those in the past and nothing worked until we bought the Netgear Wifi Mesh System.

Relocated my wife’s desk from the downstairs to a room upstairs. She was complaining of connectivity problems so we decided to take a risk on this product after smaller, less expensive wifi repeaters failed to create a signal in a wifi dead zone across the house upstairs (modem is downstairs). After an easy installation, the speed improved 10 fold. Solved the issue immediately. Would buy it again. My wife can use her work computer smoothly now she says. Internet connectivity problems were fixed, hopefully the product is durable and lasts a long time(yet to be seen).
