Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I am sure this is a quality item, and I have never has any issues with Netgear. I love their products. However when I saw in headline description that this was a system I thought it would be a router/modem system. It is not. It is only a router. It is not what I expected, so I will need to return it. I only give it 4 stars because I have no reason to give it a low one, I just wish the name was more revealing that it was not a system but just a router

I bought this setup with 2 satellites. Covers my whole home. Full backyard and out to the street with no loss of a single bar. We have a smart home and a bunch of devices without a single issue. I love that each satellite has a gigabit port on it for LAN connection. Highly recommend!

You’d think having this in a small home would help right? No. Signal is very weak considering there’s three mesh routers. I will not even mention how long and frustrating the set up was, it would wait until the end of the set up and say” please try again another time”. Also after a few days say good bye to your wifi because it just drops randomly, I don’t know how this is a product on shelves.

Overall the router was great! Great connection, easy initial setup, and good smaller sleek design. My only issue is the lack of configuration options, or at least the difficulty of setting up customization/configurations.

WiFi can’t hide from me anymore! Great coverage and the router app is excellent!

I have a brick home with metal scattered around the house to hold up the brick, lentils I believe there called. Because of the construction my Wi-Fi always had dead spots. Two areas were in high use areas and not having a good signal was frustrating. A friend recommended trying the Netgear Nighthawk Mesh system. It worked very well and now I get a strong signal everywhere in the house

Nice coverage for a 3 story home. Even outside the house coverage is pretty strong. Only wished it was tri-band, but good for the price

We purchased the mesh system when we found out fiber was going to be available out our house. It is great to have consistent speed everywhere you walk in the house. The network is easy to use and the Armor security system is a useful addition too!

Great for larger areas, and easier to set up/maintain.

This is the best investment… we needed a solution to provide WiFi over 300 feet outside the apartment and into the garage (aka… “MAN CAVE”). This provides everything we needed to watch TV, listen to music and Game with our laptops at the same time without running a second line or spending a ton of money for extenders or line of sight equipment. This is also an upgrade to WiFI 6 which is awesome and very simple to set up.

This is a great product, I can tell the difference between my old router on the speed and coverage WiFi signal in my entire house.

need to extend WIFI to the back of our house. Used the app to set up and worked great.

The Nighthawk flows seamlessly with minimal errors. The satellites add to the systems great internet experience. Cybersecurity Rocks!!! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Was having so mush issues with internet speed until I purchased the mesh system.

The Wi-Fi is very responsive the only thing I don’t understand is that the speed test on the app reads different than the speed test on my phone by like 1/2 a gig

I no longer have problems with my security camera system and alarm system. With having a Nighthawk mess system all of my connection problems have been solved. Plus with have a mess system I have a greater signal on all of my connected devices, which currently I have 16 different items from Ring security system with doorbells and contacts. As well other outdoor security cameras, which before I was loosing signal to these. And yes I recommend buying Mesh Nighthawk WiFi 6 Satellite system. Plus you can add additional satellite cubes to the system. 10 stars in my experience and view on this system.

The duel band Wi-fi 6 mesh system fixed all of our weak Wi-Fi areas in the house and front yard. The system was very simple to setup and the app is easy to use. I have wasted money on other systems that I couldn’t get setup or did not work solve anything. I would definitely recommend this system to anyone who wants to use home Wi-Fi.

Very happy with performance and coverage. No dead spots in 3800 sq ft house. Works great!

Setup was simple, noticed improvement on my ring live view right away. Same WiFi name for both created a small issue since I had 2 separate names for 2G and 5-G. Small issue since I didn’t want to have to reset my ring doorbell. Solution I kept the old 2-G WiFi name. Renamed and connected everything else to the name 2-G which automatically connects to either 5-G or 2-G
