Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

The router that came from my ISP was on the opposite side of my 1600 sq. ft house from my PS5, and it was too weak to get full signal. Once I hooked up the Netgear, I went to full signal everywhere in the house and Wi-Fi speeds tripled from what I was getting before in some areas! I’d highly recommend it.

The installation mostly went without any problems; the netgear app makes it very easy to manage most aspects of your wifi network. The range on this system is insane; I get blazing fast speeds all the way from the street to well beyond my backyard – more than enough range to ensure that the entire house is covered. I would absolutely recommend this product.

I bought this with 1 satellite. It definitely improved my wifi reach and speeds. My house is an old 1890s house and about 2400 sq ft. Internet come in the front of the house so I have been having problems with keeping a good signal in the back of the house. With this system, it seemed to improve significantly. They are new so time will tell if they continue working to that level.

I use the system in a small 3 bedroom home. The system is listed for a home almost twice mine. Main router in back of home with one satellite in front to connect to my cable tv main cable box. 2nd satellite upstairs. I now have coverage in all rooms well over what a single ac router was getting me. I get the full 300 download speed in most rooms and over 200 in the rest. I was only getting around 50 with old system even though it was capable of up to the same 300.

Amazing product. Needed a second mesh network because there were more devices spread through out the house that needed a direct connect option. Wish it would provide a bridge function between mesh networks but works fine with dual internet.
