Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

The Netgear AX1800 mk63 mesh WiFi 6 router system is amazingly fast. The satellites provide great WiFi throughout all 3 floors. The setup took 15 minutes and was simple. The Netgear app is a nice feature allowing for speed testing, firmware updates and device control. Overall a great system.

The system works amazing got rid of all of the dead zones in my house and doubled/tripled our WiFi speeds, was mostly easy to install but we have fiber from our service provider so they had to reset the modem before it would connect which took about an hour to figure out, once I called them it was up and running in 15 minutes

I have a three story home. So I purchased the Net Gear mesh system to eliminate the multiple extenders I had throughout my home. Non of which were that great at providing a good reliable signal. Now with the mesh I have the router unit in my bedroom, the satellite unit in the first floor hallway and we now have strong coverage throughout the home. My son has his computer in the basement and has no issues. At the time of this review I am sitting outside my back door and have full Wi-Fi signal. The system so far has been awesome and since my purchase I upgraded to a Net Gear Nighthawk Modem. Now when I connect a device to the network I see one network not three different networks.

Purchased because it wasn’t a high price point like the orbi. Setup and installation was smooth and painless. This might also be due to my cable modem router being a netgear product as well. Positioned one satellite downstairs and one on the opposite side of the home and picked up the signals. Haven’t had a loss/drop so far.

Our home is 2800 sq ft and there were dead spots with our old net gear router. With this mesh system there are no dead spots including out on our patio at the opposite end our home from the router. The satellite devices come with ethernet connection which I connected to my desktop computer in my office in our basement. Also I have a Kodak Airprint printed where the connection was spotty, but now works flawlessly.
