Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Being that I already had the Nighthawk app the setup was easy. For someone brand new it may be a lil confusing or impatient on setup using a cellphone. Coverage is great no more buffering or freezing in my home. 1800 sq ft 3 floors I have coverage from driveway to backyard.

The Nighthawk mesh system was fairly easy to setup and works great giving me complete coverage throughout all levels and areas I Of my house. The only issue I have had is with the app, when I check on the system it continuously tells me that it can’t find the router because it’s not connected, but in reality the system is working fine. I haven’t had time to troubleshoot that yet, otherwise it’s been exceptional.
