Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

The install app did not work for me at all. System would not connect to internet. Get laptop and Ethernet cable. Manually enter router and run setup. Then use IP address for each sattelite to enter sattelites to upgrade firmware. Dont walk laptop to sattelite, bring sattelite to computer… After updates system is fantastic. Coverage appears to be seamless throughout entire house, much much better than using extenders.

Bought the Netgear Nighthawk mesh system to replace an older nighthawk router. The system is easy to set up and get going. The app was very easy to use, and the speeds are very much better in all parts of my home. The only small snag was when reconnecting all my devices, the system showed an iPhone connection, nobody in my household has an iPhone took me a little while to figure out it was my echo device. This was just a minor thing and would still highly recommend this system.

I live in an old adobe home, thich adobe walls, my xfinity wifi is only in one room, i tried their xpods and had some success but not adequote. Just bought this this past week and It is great!!
