Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Replaced an older Apple Airport Extreme and doubled my download speed! Have the main Router and a satellite in my house and the second satellite hard wired in my shop/garage. Had to reset the system once to get the satellite in the house to reconnect one day, but moved it closer to the main base station and haven’t had an issue since.

I bought this to resolve connection problem last in corners of the home. It’s a single storied 3000 square feet home. I setup the existing wireless router in bridge mode and had the Nighthawk router and satellites working in less than 5 mins. I feel at times the connection drops but am not sure if it’s really the mesh system. Overall very satisfied. Also love the fact that I can control internet on each connected device. Provides a lot of flexibility. The iPhone app is amazing and simple to use.
