Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

This was one of the easiest routers to setup. Within 10 minutes my network was up and running. The signal/coverage is excellent with this system. I now have almost full coverage everywhere in my house and part of my yard which helped me connect to my cameras as well. My only recommendation is to be careful with the preset password on the router. The password assigned on mine was pretty weak and would be fairly easily defeated by a brute force attack.

Purchased this a week ago, setup was relatively easy, connectivity and coverage is 100% improvement over the existing wi-fi system (Other brand router with 3 net-extenders), 3500 sq ft 2 story home. One downside is that the router only has one network RJ45 jack. I have other devices that need the connectivity. Bought a 5 port router hub which solved the issue. So far, all of the devices connect and the throughput is noticeably faster. Especially wi-fi calling which stays connected throughout the house. The previous setup would drop calls consistently

Easy set-up – can be completed in 10 minutes or less. Even if you’re not a tech savvy individual, the step by step process in the app walks you through the hassle free installation. My wifi has never been so fast. It’s sleak and pretty rather small, which makes it easy to conceal – even if the router is sitting on on top of your entertainment center. AWESOME PRODUCT.

This has to be the easiest piece of equipment that I have ever set up for our office. We used to have very spotty WiFi coverage at our warehouse. With this mesh system, we have flawless coverage anywhere we go on our campus. The app makes set up a breeze! Once you have the main network set up, adding additional satellites is a s simple as plugging them in. After that, they connect by themselves and begin repeating WiFi. As opposed to other mesh networks I’ve tried in the past, handoff from satellite to satellite is seamless. We are now able to get blazing fast speeds everywhere, wether walking around the campus or standing stationary. 10/10

Easy to set up. Broadcasts a strong Wi-Fi signal throughout our 2,000 sq. ft. two story home. Devices that once periodically lost the Wi-Fi signal now get a strong, consistent signal. Great product!
