Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Incredible! What’s amazing about mesh networks is the flawless connection that is maintained at any area of your house. Not only has this boosted the speed of my home network, it has created a single wireless network that is received at any area of my house. That means no more switching networks or using extenders to boost the signal. Would highly recommend!

Setup the router with 2 satellites. Setup was easy everything joined up the way it should took maybe 15 minutes. Between Alexia and my 22 other attachments It took 2 days to straighten out my lights and outlets. All is great now. I also like the remote app on my phone and that QR code printout for visitor net is a nice touch.

I’ve always heard good things about net gear products but never experienced them myself. After learning I was getting ripped off by my internet company, I took the advice of a family member and got the whole home mesh system. Immediately our family noticed a difference with our speeds. I wish we would have done this sooner. I wish I would have said something sooner. When I did look i to net gear there were so many options. It was nice to find something that met our needs and was in our price range. Overall I think 4 stars is well earned by this product. Here some Pros and Cons: Pros: – Hassle Free Install – Decent Range – Ability to use wired network to link the satellites to the hub. Cons: – If you have more than a couple wired devices, you will need a hub – Not the fastest transfer rate – Compatibility with Sonos speakers is a mixed bag – inability to separate 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks
