Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Not completely satisfied with this purchase. Wifi connections to Android/Apple phones keeps dropping off. Some sites work great and then move to another site and automatically network connection is unavailable.

Found switching from my older router to this one was a longer process than i thought it would be, some of my smart lights won’t work with this new router because they need 2ghz . Took me awhile to get my Alexa working and my tv also.. I like the idea of the satellite router just not convinced it was worth the money yet.
