Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Dual band mesh system was super easy to set up. App is simple and great to manage all the devices. Armor feature provides security on all connected devices in the network. Armor comes with a service fee after one month of trial. Has been very transparent and clear with notifications so far. recommend this product for sure.

The Netgear Nighthark Mesh setup marked my 4th major brand router attempt to upgrade to WiFi 6. The setup was painlessly easy, and two weeks in, all is well with 31 devices on two floors. The Nighthawk speed performance is excellent. All the competing brands it tested were much slower and frequently dropped connections to devices, even if they were not moving. One major brand required fans to cool it.
