Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I purchased the Netgear Nighthawk WiFi mesh because I had a poor reception in my garage. I had an WiFi extender before but that did not help much. The installation was very easy and took only a few minutes. After setting everything up and testing the signal, I was pleasantly surprise to find out that I have about the same signal strength in the garage as if I was standing next to my cable modem. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone who is having issues with WiFi coverage

So far its awesome, I have wifi signal where I never had it before with just the base after hooking up satellite I now have coverage on my whole property where I can enjoy using my laptop while sitting in our gazebo in the back yard with no buffering if streaming movies or shows. The MR60 w/2 satellites was easy to set up. Works seamlessly for our house. With a growing smart home, things were constantly missing from the wifi. It was too much for one old router. This works fantastic. This looks fantastic. The only advice I’ll give is find and use the AP setting if you’re plugging it into the back of an old router/modem combination. If you don’t, it can lead to some weirdness.

Love this piece of equipment! I live in an older house and the WiFi was very limited. With the Nighthawk, we now have full WiFi throughout the entire property. We did have it professionally installed because cable had to be run, holes drilled in walls, etc., but most people can probably install it themselves with little trouble. Also, the monitoring software is great and easy to use via the smartphone app. Love this product!

This product is great. We had a stand alone Neatgear 600. It worked fine in the house. I installed the new mesh system and put one satellite in the garage and one in the farthest bedroom. Now I have great coverage in my yard and outbuildings. Fantastic product.
