Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

This is a vast upgrade for the stock modem provided by xfinity. Their modem was slow and always lagging when multiple people were online. I have the same internet speed except now I’m running all nighthawk gear. The difference is like day and night. No lagging and I have excellent coverage throughout my house. It’s a little pricey but worth the investment. Also, setting it up was easy. Download the app and follow the step by step. I got a bit confused so I ended up watching a YouTube video. Since running this set up, I tell everyone who’s running into speed problems to use nighthawk.

The mesh system is fantastic. It was a simple 5 to 10 minute setup and completion. It delivers high wifi speeds to areas of my house that were getting subpar wifi. Some spots went from 4mbps to over 100mbps. I would recommend to anyone with deadspots.
