Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

The internet access is in a bedroom, would get annoyingly slow coverage on the other side of the house. With the nighthawk mesh network I get the same speed throughout the house and even in the garage/ driveway/ and backyard. This system is absolutely awful! I purchased this for my parents and they are very unreliable. The mesh satellite will not connect if your password starts with a capital letter because of a bug, setup has a loop where it asks you to connect to the default WiFi network, even though I already connected, the app is filled with ads. WPA3/WPA2 transition mode is unsupported, breaking compatibility with most IoT devices such as smart plugs. I gave up and gave them an old Google WiFi system, which has effortless setup.
