Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

My Netgear Wi-Fi 6 MESH is installed in a 2100 square foot house. We should be getting excellent internet connections to all of our devices; but, we are not. Experiencing buffering on new LG TV and Google Nest. Never had this problem with our Wi-Fi 5 Netgear device which is 3 years old. Also, why would the tech developers not have the system be allowed to have WPA2 and WPA3 security working at the same time like my old router. Totally makes no sense. We have to select one or the other, not both. We have to select WPA2 so that all of our devices connect. Less secured connection. Going back to our older Netgear router; and, returning this worthless MESH router today!!!!!! This is not a good buy!!

I updated from a high end router, but it was around 7 years old and was starting to degrade, found this mesh system and saw it had good reviews. Set up was pretty easy comparative to elder routers, the app to use is fairly informative, but does lack main options from an old router standpoint, but if you use the web style interface all the options are there so its not bad. Overall range is great, it has almost doubled my range from my old router, and no more dead spots I can find. I would recommend this system for sure!

This was probably the easiest wifi I have ever installed. I don’t know why I was putting it off. And, it solved all of the connection issues with my phones and TV. Great product as promised. The nighthawk was a few extra dollars, but well worth the investment. It resolved all of the connection issues in every remote corner.
