Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Great wifi system, I’m hard wired into the satellite versus the router itself and I’m still getting upwards of 500mbps download speed which is great for my location and gives me the speed for everything I need to do.

I had a night hawk unit prior with improved speeds but spotty coverage. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to upgrade. This unit gives me coverage throughout the entire house of full bars AND great speeds. I can now wirelessly print anywhere and watch streaming downstairs without buffing.

I saw this mesh setup on a Black Friday deal and jumped on it. It is very simple to setup and definitely expands your wifi range. Now I can even get a great signal in the back yard to do outdoor movie nights. I had my mom get the same system and her wifi range drastically improved. I would definitely recommend this!
