Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I gained around 100mb/s just by switching to this router. (Wi-Fi). Even when wired I got better connection. I used to experience an issue with CONSTANT dropouts that were related to the router provided by them. It’s a hassle to go through when you know what the issue is and they try to send you the same router with the same firmware. The range is great on this as well to provide full connection strength with the satellite in a 2500sqft home. I was in my backyard still getting signal. It may be one of netgear’s cheaper items, but the quality isn’t cheap.

It has definitely extended my wifi as I now get better wifi outside the house. But , I haven’t seen the speed increase alot of other people say they get. I have a 1200mb or 1.2g plan. In the room where the router is, I get fast speeds. But where the satellite is , I went from 100-120 , to 200. At 1st there were some issues with it dropping signal, but that seems to have gone away. Overall not bad.

The Netgear nighthawk has been wonderful. We would loose wifi signal with the conventional router given by the cable company and it was frustrating working from home. A few weeks ago when I purchased the nighthawk mesh 6 the situation has changed completely. Now our signal is strong in the whole house and stable. No complaints from my family members working from home plus all the electronic devices connected to the wireless network are working great and the speed has increased significantly. Also it was very easy to connect via the app. Great purchase.

The 6 Mesh was easy to set up and the coverage is the best we’ve had. The only issue was to link a third satellite unit. It took awhile for me to figure out but it eventually connected.
