Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I decided I needed to update my mesh network and boy this did the job. I used this on a 3500sq 4 floor Townhome and it made al1 the difference. Now every amazon device, projector, TV and device is running at great speeds. I only wish I had done this sooner. I can ever stream my fire stick projector in the backyard with no issues for outdoor movie nights (35ft from home).

The satellites do not want to sync or be recognized. has a design flaw in only one ethernet port on the router. I have a desktop and a phone, and a tv that could be directly connected to the router if there were more ports
