Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

My parents had a horrible wifi at their house. I suggested to my dad to look at Mesh so he came home with the nighthawk system. I installed it pretty quickly for them. It worked pretty decent even though he has a DSL connection. I recently moved into a bigger house, where the standard modem/router combo wasn’t covering the entire house so I looked for other options. I decided to buy my own nighthawk system. Half the cost of Orbi with three times the speed of the m/r combo. Has been working great.
