Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

This is my first mess network in my 3000 sqft, 100 year old home. The wall are thick but the nighthawk wifi6 mk60 network has upped the speeds at a distance from the main router, from 10s of mb down, to 100s of mb down. Coverage is excellent, haven’t found any dead spots.

I replaced a router wifi booster system with the mesh system. My wifi throughout the house is much faster than I expected. 4x faster in my office than it was with the wifi booster, download is consistently 300-400 Mbps and 18-20 Mbps upload.

Before I bought this, I already had another nighthawk product, the R8000, so I thought I was already pretty good with the app. I had researched to be sure that the M60 supported wired backhual because the wireless backhual would not work in my house, just too far away. It took me roughly 5 hours to get the m60 router to work correctly. I think the nighthawk app was getting confused between R8000 and the M60, at one point I unplugged the R8000 because the app would not pick up on the M60 at all, only to find out the app was referring to the M60 as my R8000. Through all this I got locked out of my router and app several times and got very frustrated. I had to come back to it a week later and ultimately factory reset everything, and delete/reinstall the app and remove the R8000 completely in order to complete the set up, from there the satellite installation was a breeze. As of writing this I have used the system for a week and have been mostly trouble free, sometimes webpages wont load on my phone when I am in the in-between zone of the two satellites, but refreshing my wifi connection has always fixed it.

I’ve been having a hard time getting service to play in my room . My connection would always drop or always have a weak signal. Bus since I have gotten the mesh 6 those days are over. It was a little complicated connecting the satellites, but once they were connected BOOM everything was soon sailing.
