Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I am very satisfied with this system. I am an Xfinity subscriber and tried using their pods, but I was still getting 30mbps or less in many rooms. With this system we are getting over 500 Mbps in each room.

I live in a rural area and our internet options are limited. We have to use DSL and both my wife and I work from home so we need reliable internet. We used to use the modem/router provided by my internet provider and it was not great. I had bought a wireless router to try and help with my wifi woes and it too was not great. Then I found the Netgear Nighthawk. It is smaller than both the modem and router I was using. The Nighthawk was easy to set up and sync both satellites. My router is in the back of the house and one satellite is at the front and the second is upstairs in our office. This wifi router works fantastic. It reaches the whole house, keeps my limited 50mbs constant. We are very happy with the Nighthawk!

A true plug an play system. Just download the app ( IOS or Android) an it will take you thru the setup process step by step. I’m finally getting the internet speed I’ve been paying for all these years. My house is 4000 sq ft an now have a full Wi-Fi signal anywhere in the house. I highly recommend this product.
