Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Setup was incredibly simple and the customer service was spectacular. I did have an issue with the satellite but I brief 30 second hold time got me talking to an agent and we were able to come up with a solution in ONE call. I am truly amazed, I’m currently waiting on the replacement satellite to come in but I am more than satisfied.

Initial setup was way more difficult than it should have been. Felt like 1992 not 2022! Once setup complete, strong performance. The app is terrible is want anything other than very basic information or controls.

The nighthawk wifi 6 mesh is faster than any router I have owned. Not only has it improved my work from home experience, but it has also made it easier to stream TV. The satellite has also made a huge difference and I have even wifi throughout the home.

My NETGEAR93 had worked well for a few years, but with added devices using WiFi, including a home security system with 17 devices and sensors using WiFi, it couldn’t keep up. Satellite TV began buffering in a couple rooms. I added the NETGEAR Nighthawk with base router 2 satellites using an ethernet cord and BAM!! Everything works beautifully. Before, my phone would lose WiFi as soon as I entered my detached garage. Now it stays connected everywhere in the garage and I can walk through the back two rooms in the garage and go outside BEHIND the garbage and still be connected to WiFi!!! Awesome!
