Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Not sure if I’m using them right but wifi isn’t much better upstairs I get 2-300mps with 1gb service when I connect to Ethernet on mesh system I do get closer to 500mbps. I thought I would get better wifi speed upstairs with mesh sysytem but so far no bet te r

It definitely seems to be faster. We are working on getting both of the satellite routers to sync. Set up wasn’t terrible but still a little confusing if you don’t know the technical terms.

Upgraded from an older nighthawk that did amazing. We decided to upgrade and this has allowed us to use more devices with less issues. Love the fact you can “hardwire” a device to a certain extent. This helps with devices that can’t actually use the faster WiFi. Overall it is working very well and a massive improvement.

Noticed the difference immediately with streaming. The download and upload speeds are about the same as our previous router. Biggest difference is minimal lag and consistent signal strength throughout the house. Works better on fixed channel than auto. Pleasantly surprised.
