Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I installed the NetGear Nighthawk mesh system in my house. The main unit in my 1st floor office; the satellites upstairs in the MBR and in the basement media room. The internet speeds in the MBR and media room are now phenomenal! Movies no longer experience any buffering as my full internet speed is available all over the house now. Wish I had installed this a year earlier.

Took maybe 10 mins to setup with the app. We have the router in a closet with our modem, and 1 satellite upstairs, and 1 downstairs on the other end of the house. I’ve got 50mb/s download speed at something like 100ft from the outside of the house. I basically have coverage in my entire 165×200 lot.

Just purchased and setup the nighthawk and am impressed with all aspects of it. Installation was super easy. App was easy to understand and play with. I was able to change the credentials so all my devices worked automatically on the new router. More importantly, all wifi-weak areas are now eliminated!

This equipment was incredibly unstable. It would: stop, drop… and then roll right over our best efforts. We worked two full days, even just spreading it out within one large living room. The longest it ever stayed fully functional was approximately 15 minutes. At least it looked cool. The app was well designed and was great at revealing what was wrong and NOT functioning. Returned. Bought Google Wifi. Google Wifi was great. It working flawlessly within half an hour. House size: 6K sq ft.

I purchased the WiFi 6 Mesh system because of the 3400 Sq. ft house we live in was too large of a home for the Mediacom router to handle. As soon as I set the system up, there was a 5 times increase in the WiFi system signal strength! The ease of the set up for the system was very fast with the NetGear Apt!

We’re using this device with the Tmobile 5G internet. The Tmobile gateway has a built in wifi that reaches decently but not behind walls. That said, the download/upload was 8 mpbs. After installing this mesh router, the speeds jumped up to 320/80. So that alone was worth using. The mesh system also is a nice introductory to setting up a mesh around the house. The GUI for managing the systems is decent as well. I just wished the app was more useful for advance features. I still have to log into my computer which is a minor inconvenience but being able to change things on the phone would be great. The only other thing I wish this thing had was an internet monitoring system or automatically grab internet speed and post to log. The modem is able to check internet speeds and even writes them to a history plot which is useful for monitoring a new ISP.
