Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I tried a different more expensive system first but it was very disappointing. Thought I would give Netgear a try and was pleasantly surprised. Installation was easy by just following the steps in the app. The coverage is very good and the network is functional all the time, I have not had to reboot the router once since installation. Overall a nice system for the price and I would definitely recommend it.

I have been using this mesh network for about a week now and have been impressed. The mesh satellites extend the signal to all corners of my house and once I got everything setup I haven’t had any issues connecting. The one issue I had was setting the router up. The router had a hard time detecting the satellites regardless of where they were in relation to the router. I eventually got it all working by hard resetting the router and satellites but it caused some frustration. Overall I am happy with the mesh network as it was more affordable than others and I haven’t had connection problems since setup.

Had a google wifi nest mesh system prior that had poor range in my current house. Replaced with Nighthawk and have had no problems with range or setup since. I was constantly resetting the google wifi, it’s been over a week and I’ve not had to reset the nighthawk mesh once. The upgrade to wifi 6 at this price was worth it.
