Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I tried a wall plug and play extender and it didn’t work well. Although setup was a little frustrating at first, once I got it right, I have Excellent Wireless Wi-Fi Connection in the back 1,000 sq. ft. addition to the house. Including several tv’s and computers. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I have a ranch style house and have had trouble getting good signal coverage. The Knighthawk mesh system has solved that issue. I’m getting good coverage even with the modem and router at the far end of the house. Getting it set up initially was a bit of a challenge but I’m not well versed in digital equipment. I think anyone with just some basic knowledge can set it up.

Purchased the Netgear Mesh system because we depend on TMobile 5G cell signal for our wifi. It is strongest upstairs. Putting the Netgear main unit upstairs and using a satellite unit downs stairs affords is better coverage and I hardwired put smart TV into the satellite, which kept it from having to connect to wifi. We have excellent coverage and are seeing exceptional transfer speeds. No lagging or buffering now!
