Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

We really like the nighthawk mesh system we have set up in our house. We have a fairly good-sized house and in the past, different routers have failed us in keeping all of our devices satisfactorily connected to Wi-Fi. But we’ve had no issues since installing the nighthawk mesh system, the satellites spaced throughout the house really help keep all of our devices fully connected and operating optimally. We are very happy we purchased the nighthawk mesh system.

The setup process didn’t flow as smoothly as expected: a. the QR code didn’t work with the app so I had to use the manual method, b. The nodes not updating automatically which required another manual method, c. Had to factory reset both nodes to get AP mode to work. While the setup process took some patience, the system has been flawless since. The range is excellent, speeds have been consistent and the network has been running smoothly. The app interface is clean and all the features are easy to locate and use. And I really like that the nodes mesh pretty well with my decor.

The product was extremely easy to setup from the app and I am pleased with the coverage in my home. The price for a mesh system is great. My only concern at this point is my WiFi network speeds are 150Mbs from the 450Mbs I was getting on my prior WiFi router. However, that has not been a problem yet for what I use the internet for.
