Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I can’t express how impressed I am with this product. As a telecommuting worker for the past 6 years, I couldn’t leave my basement office were my ISP router was located. When I did my signal was so weak, if I even stepped out on my back porch, I lost connection as well as missed calls. In addition to that, we had two family members that moved into our home who both had cellphones, tablets and an Xbox. Now after installing the nighthawk which took all of 5 minutes, I can roam around my home while working, all 17 devices run beautifully, and I’m pulling out 919/910 on my porch. This may have saved my job and definitely my sanity

Took me 3 days to get this system to work. There are NO instructions as to how to configure this system except to download the app. When the app doesn’t work you are out of luck. When I did finally get it to work the speed of the system was less than half of what I pay for. I returned it because it was useless for me.
