Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Came from a nighthawk 3900 I think it was and was worried I wouldn’t get the range I needed to reach my back garage for our Blink cameras to work. I used to have to use a wifi repeater to get a reliable signal out there but that is no longer needed anymore. Plus the speeds are way better to me on the 2.4ghz band and the fact I don’t have to worry about switching from band to band when more speed is needed is super nice. It does it on its own whenever possible. Gaming online hasn’t been a problem at all. Spend the money and just get this the next time you need a new router.

I ordered are two of these 3 packs one for my home and one for my parents house. My house requires a backhaul Ethernet cord going to my garage. It was plug-and-play as far as backhaul. Setup with the app was ok. The app over all is a A little buggy, wouldn’t see the satellites and kept crashing. After firmware update on the satellites I was finally able to see the satellites. WiFi amazing they just need to fix the app and connectivity to the router. It’s new so I’m just gonna give it time. I will be setting up the other one for Christmas at my parents house I think they’ll be very happy. I just recommended it to my brother. This is my first mesh but anytime I set up Wi-Fi at someone’s house I always recommend a nighthawk. Pretty reliable had one at my office that lasted nine years.
