Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I have stayed with night hawk for it’s reliability. This mesh system lives up to what you would expect from it. I can walk anywhere in my home and not worry about losing signal strength or the internet. I bought this system not because it is the fastest, but for durability and consistency. I have 12 devices connected at any one time and noting gets slowed down.

I moved from a house fully wired with ethernet to one without. The current router was installed at one side of the house and I could barely get wifi at the other end of the house. With the mesh system installed, I was able to get wifi at the rated speed on the far end of the house. I also like the ethernet ports so I can plug directly into the system.
