Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

The setup was fairly easy and took some time. Once we were up in running it has been great. Wew have been using our system for a little over three weeks now and it is allowing us to have better internet access to do our work. Easy to set up by following the instructions. We have a long narrow townhouse with cameras at front door and garage doors at opposite ends of our home. With our modem at one end and the garage doors at the other, we have a good signal to our doorbell camera and to our Generac outside of the garage. Solid connections now.

The Nighthawk Mesh System has proved to be an impressive addition to my homes WiFi coverage/range. The main router and 2 satellites were fairly easy to set up and the 3 effectively paired up with each other to extend a strong WiFi signal throughout my 1800 sq. ft. two story house. Additionally the signal reaches beyond the house to provide a WiFi signal in our yards outside, which was impossible before with an Apple Airporter router system. Compatability with our Apple computers is not an issue with the Nighthawk System and our family is delighted 100%.
