Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I upgraded from an Orbi mesh hoping for better performance and it was the opposite. Devices connect and are super slow. Even devices that manage to work are only getting 80mbps. Plus’s too much spam.

Works well in my ~3200 sqft house and is able to handle ~20 devices easily. These were the main reasons for my purchase. Doesn’t seem to provide any higher download speeds. I don’t really care for the bloatware/features that Netgear provides, I am not using most of them. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase.
