Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

Step by step instructions after downloading the app were user friendly. FYI, I did not unplug/disconnect my modem/internet router when I was installing and the nighthawk router and satellites picked up my signal and set up correctly anyway. Worth it!

I bought this for my home as we have an older style home and the brick makes it hard for the connection to make it completely around the house. With these I have been able to run all my devices anywhere in the home without any issue and without any speed loss. These are also great as they preform to the modem and you don’t loose speed. My previous mesh system would loose 20-40 Mbps through Ethernet vs connected directly to the modem. Overall, I am very happy with the router and would highly recommend this to anyone in need of a mesh system!

Set up was easy! Like the app feature. But it says it has the range for a 4,500sq ft home and my house isn’t that big and signal is still weak in the bonus room. But other then that. Pretty happy with the product.

It allows a guest WiFi and tells you what devices are using your WiFi you can choose to block any device you want anytime. Pair this with a fiber optic connection and working remotely is a breeze. My speeds are excellent and I have a detached home office. The App is very user friendly and easy to install and navigate. I would recommend NetGear Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 system to any and everyone. This router has been a great move from the Apple airport extreme. The satellites are extremely easy to install and allow for top-tier Internet speeds in every part of my house. Not as many ethernet ports on the homebase as I would like, but that is easily remedied with the satellites.

I was having issues with connectivity in my old brick home – even though it’s 1500sqft, the router signal wasn’t getting from one end of the house to the other. This mesh network has changed that, and I appreciate that you don’t have to connect to an “_ext” version of the network.

Nice easy mesh system to setup in our house. The Nighthawk app was easy to download and walk through. The spacing in my house worked well and provides strong signal in my major rooms as well as outdoor patio. I give the system 4 stars. If the reliability is perfect over the next year , I would shift this to a 5star rating.
