Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

My service is pretty limited and I never thought that I would have a decent WiFi but now with this mesh system every room in my house has a very good signal and speed plus each one has an ethernet port that gave flexibility and the possibility to move some devices around my house, something that I would never had believed possible.

I have been using an Xfinity X1 for 3 years, and could never get above about 100 mbps, although I was paying for 1000 mbps, now I am consistently getting over 400 mbps, and that is with over 25 devices running at once. Plus I love how easy it is to configure and customize the ui too.

The setup was easy, mostly from the app they direct you too. They take your settings from the app, then can talk to each other for other setup tasks. It really was just a set and forget style setup. I made some improvements to my network security, and I now have more control over what I have and see on my network. Highly recommend.
