Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I needed a system to carry Wi-Fi across my home. I have a single story 2700 sq ft home. I had used a extender but I didn’t like the weak signal and dead spots. My network products have always been netgear but I didn’t want to spend the money on a orbi. I’m pretty tech savvy but this network is something anyone can set up. I had it up in 10 minutes. I like the app controls the only thing I don’t like are in app parental controls. You can stop or set limits to what device is in the network. I imagine I can set up an open dns to solve this I just have not yet.

Seems like this WIFI mess WIFI extender may be the answer to poor WIFI zones within your house, time will tell. What they do not tell you is how to merge the Netgear router to your ISP provider. Not as easy to set up as they advertise. Careful with SONOS, all must be connected to Netgear Nighthawk router. Instructions are almost non existent. Whenever something sounds too easy it probably is not

I really like the Netgear Nighthawk Wifi 6 system it is fast and easy to set up. I now have fast reliable internet throughout my home. It has very flexible set up options and it is very easy to find all of the settings. I like that you can broadcast separate WIFI channels to set up devices that only work on 2.4g like some cameras and light bulbs. It works very well so far.
