Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

First one I got must have been defective. It kept disconnecting and I had to start the whole process of setting it up again every morning. It took like 10 attempts before it found the router. Return that set and got a replacement which works great.

My son installed one of these systems at his house and it was great when I visited. So I bought one for my home and all the intermittent issues in my network are gone. I have great signal everywhere. I am getting ten times the speed at almost every device compared to the speed tests I used to run trying to chase down the problems I was having. Great app to see what’s on the network and I feel safe getting a notification when a new devices connect to the network. I have labeled every device and can simply turn off internet access to any device I suspect. My internet gateway is still clocking at near theoretical speed after a week without restarting it.
