Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I bought a refurbished unit. It would not set up. I tried the set-up process multiple times. Base unit would not reset. Tried calling technical support 3 times. They were not any help whatsoever, that is the most disappointing part of my transaction. I felt like all I did was waste 3 days messing with this system, just to return it.

Very happy with this system. I was using a modem/router System before. We’re going to the system my game speeds upload and download. I’m getting everything that I pay for with the system highly recommend it. I did have to Contact support when setting up due to one satellite not working or wanting to sync. Customer support was great!

Really good system, very easy to install with the phone app it has a step by step process. I still need to test the best positions for my satellites as sometimes I noticed a slight interruption of WiFi when moving between them.

I recently updated my WiFi router to a Netgear Nighthawk whole house mesh router and difference has been fantastic. I thought that watching live programming caused buffering but we would stream an old movie and would constantly have to wait for the movie to load. There hasn’t been any buffering since we installed this router with 2 satellites. Great product and would highly recommend it to anyone who hates being interrupted while watching a program or movie on the tv by buffering.
