I get only 4MB/S when i download games files 50GB and the Pick A Plug LED is red when it`s Connected to my PC. The powerline 1000 that is connected to my router Pick A Plug LED is green. i have tried to reset the Powerline 1000, same problem

technically it worked great, but the PL adaptor is too wide for Australian double GPOs. I only have a double GPO where my modem is and the manual says not to use a powerboard but due to the wide of the PL1000 when its plugged in I can’t fit even extension cord plugs into the spare side of the double GPO so it makes it impossible to use!

We bought this because I needed a landline source from the basement, but the only source was a floor above. This works great and the speed is really good. I would like to connect my smartphone to it, but there is a password for the network that is unknown.

I have used it successfully, wondering if I can add 2 more adapters in other rooms for a similar experience.

My modem/router is pushing 600mbps to all my devices except to this powerline. I have green lights across both ends, but when i do a speed test i’m only getting 45mbps. My wifes office is a dead zone with Wifi. This device did not help at all. is there something i’m doing wrong?

I bought 4 of the model 500 of these about 5 years ago. With the move to wireless, I am only using 2 now, and one finally failed. Plugged one of the other two in, and immediately resumed operation. The speed is excellent. I haven’t measured it, but it seems about the same as using a 100 ft cat 5 cable. (but without the cable!). Functionality, ease of use, durability – all excellent. And I imagine the new models are even better.

I have been using the powerline product for more than three years, same equipment, no issues. If I have an issue with the units, I unplug them, wait 10 seconds, plug them back in and, Voila, back on-line. I can’t say that it has been 100% trouble free, but very close, maybe 98% of the time no issues, the other 2%, can’t say. My throughput is at least as good as either wireless or wired. Full disclose, upgrading my router did make a difference. I upgraded to a business class router, never going back to home router if at all possible.

I’ve been using my powerline for quite a few years now and it still functions properly, despite the speeds fluctuating from time to time. Overall satisfied with the product.
