The R7000 Nighthawk AC1900 Smart Wi-Fi Router from Netgear uses a dual core 1GHz processor and AC1900 Wi-Fi technology to deliver speed and performance that’s perfect for gaming and streaming HD video. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz wireless frequencies, providing up to 1900 Mbps (600 on the 2.4 GHz band and 1300 on the 5.0 GHz band) data transfer rates.
The Nighthawk router utilizes Beamforming+ technology, meaning that unlike omnidirectional Wi-Fi which fans the signal out within a range, it communicates directly with devices such as tablets or smartphones, and beams a signal specifically to the device. This reduces interference, and provides stronger, faster, and more reliable connections. Mobile Wi-Fi speeds are much faster than previous technology thanks to the router’s high-powered amplifiers and antennas.
The R7000 Nighthawk router also supports both Google Voice assistant and Amazon’s Alexa for added functionality.

I needed your technical support to get started. Which was fabulous, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As far as the performance of the router is concerned, it is too early to tell. So far absolutely no problems. And the strength of the WiFi throughout the house seems to be better than what I used to have (I have full everywhere). The printer uses WiFi and I can easily access it from the 4 computers we have in the house.

Wifi reaches pretty far in an old house. Its consistently downloading 250mbps or more which is awesome. The only thing is that it gets pretty hot on the bottom. I wish it had some sort of pod underneath that would keep it from getting so hot as I’m scared it might eventually be too much. Ive had it for about 6 months, no problems and I can play PC, Xbox, oculus, and nintendo switch with maximum quality.

Works well with many devices and the ability to control what devices connect to it via The nighthawk app you have full control from your phone and able to manage all types of settings from wifi to disconnecting devices manually it’s stable and brings the best of your Internet connection with wide range to connect in your household I highly recommend and not too expensive of a router of you are looking for an upgrade.
