The R7000 Nighthawk AC1900 Smart Wi-Fi Router from Netgear uses a dual core 1GHz processor and AC1900 Wi-Fi technology to deliver speed and performance that’s perfect for gaming and streaming HD video. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz wireless frequencies, providing up to 1900 Mbps (600 on the 2.4 GHz band and 1300 on the 5.0 GHz band) data transfer rates.
The Nighthawk router utilizes Beamforming+ technology, meaning that unlike omnidirectional Wi-Fi which fans the signal out within a range, it communicates directly with devices such as tablets or smartphones, and beams a signal specifically to the device. This reduces interference, and provides stronger, faster, and more reliable connections. Mobile Wi-Fi speeds are much faster than previous technology thanks to the router’s high-powered amplifiers and antennas.
The R7000 Nighthawk router also supports both Google Voice assistant and Amazon’s Alexa for added functionality.

Once you have the app up and running installation is very easy. Reception is very good. Router is in the Kitchen in my home. We have a pool house about 100 yards away from the home . Reception is also good at that location. Recommend it.

I just recently returned my google best wifi router as I was strongly recommended to purchase the Netgear Nighthawk! The wifi works great, is strong, fast, has wide range, and I love that there are two bands depending on which device you use. Very easy to set up and works well during parties when I invite many guests. It does what it does well and I have never had such a great experience with Wifi and never encountered any problems at all.

I purchased one of your routers because I was told that they were the better But after contacting your customer service department I trying to get my box set up they just kept passing me from guy to guy I was on the phone for 45 minutes never got an answer On how to set it up so I can tell you the performance on it because it just sitting here not connected I may just send it back.
