The R7000 Nighthawk AC1900 Smart Wi-Fi Router from Netgear uses a dual core 1GHz processor and AC1900 Wi-Fi technology to deliver speed and performance that’s perfect for gaming and streaming HD video. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz wireless frequencies, providing up to 1900 Mbps (600 on the 2.4 GHz band and 1300 on the 5.0 GHz band) data transfer rates.
The Nighthawk router utilizes Beamforming+ technology, meaning that unlike omnidirectional Wi-Fi which fans the signal out within a range, it communicates directly with devices such as tablets or smartphones, and beams a signal specifically to the device. This reduces interference, and provides stronger, faster, and more reliable connections. Mobile Wi-Fi speeds are much faster than previous technology thanks to the router’s high-powered amplifiers and antennas.
The R7000 Nighthawk router also supports both Google Voice assistant and Amazon’s Alexa for added functionality.

Im rather technically challenged, but setting this up was super easy! Just download the app and go through the steps. You can set child restrictions, easily change your password, have a guest join whiteout having to compromise your security and give them the password

I recently bought the Netgear Nighthawk R7000 router because of severe and agressive cyber bullying where I live. It was easy to install and get running, which provided me with the security I had sought for only three days then the hacker(s) caused some sort of power surge (which sounded like an electric bolt of lighting) which affected my tv and laptop and the hacking resumed, where my tv settings changed for the Airplay app and the hacker(s) got into my laptop settings changing my profile name and the desktop screensaver to the American flag and the Statue of Liberty. The hacker(s) even disabled two of my security keys which no longer work.
