With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

The Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 is an amazing Wifi Router. We use it for multiple devices in our home. It is very powerful and is SUPER fast compared to our old Wifi Router. I was in need of a GOOD router to run my Home Security camera, in order to keep an eye on my epileptic dog while I am away from home. The Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 made connecting to my camera a breeze and has gave me peace of mind while away. I recently purchased the Nighthawk AC2300 by netgear. So far I’ve had it about a week and it’s been nothing but amazing. I’m getting better and more liable connections with both the WiFi and hard wire. I was averaging between 90 to 100 mb/s with my old ISP provider provided router now I’m getting a steady 180 mb/s up to 220. I have no more connections lost errors while watching Hulu or in the middle of my games I play online..

I previously had my ISP’s modem/router, I had to reset that box every few days if not multiple times a day as the wi-fi would fail, the internet was fine as my hard wired desktop CPU was still connected, in 2 plus weeks with this router I haven’t had any issues with the wi-fi.
