With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

This is the best router I have ever owned. It has absolutely no issue keeping up with my internal network and my ISP. The only issue I wish I had the option to change is the LED lights that are really bright. As this is a beautiful router I like to have it out in the open to see. And quite frankly, it so nice to look at that the ‘problem’ with the lights seems dwarfed. Over all this is the last router I pan on buying (until the next generation comes out).

I’m very disappointed in the AC2300 Nighthawk router. Only displayed the 2.4 GHz channel mostly. This channel, when I was logged in, would load extremely slow, especially if pictures were involved. Lost wifi connection frequently and internet connection dropped a lot. When I could log in to the 5 GHz channel I would eventually lose connection there also.
