With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

It has been over a week since I connected this Wifi Router and so far I am very happy with its performance. First, it’s very easy to install and use just download the app and follow the steps, connect your internet at the back of the Router, connect it into a power supply and turn it on, wait for few minutes. Second: I am not a tech guy but I like to have different gadgets with internet connection. I use internet to listen music, download stuff, to read, and to do office work so I need to have a good coverage all over my place. Highly recommended.

We decided to buy our own equipment and quit paying rental fees for equipment, this router along with a matching cable modem is definitely a HUGE upgrade to the cable companies equipment, we have a 3600 sq ft home and the modem/router are centrally located and each floor of the home gets great 5g connection, I check our speed vs the neighbors and we are almost double (one of our neighbors is the head of IT at a local hospital). I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpspensive upgrade for better internet connection/speed.
