With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

This router was an awesome investment! I was only pulling about 75mbs with my old netgear router and have spectrum come out to my house and changed all the fitting and updated some connections. I like how easy it was to set up the router; coupled with the nighthawk app. The device is good upgrade and I noticed more capacity out of my already decent internet speed. My devices no longer fight with each other to maintain internet connection. For those who want to bolster their internet security or be cognizant of specific devices “Mac” addresses and such, the app is very useful for this. I do recommend this router for sure!
