With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

I love this router, my wifi access is no longer lagging and cell phone access to home wifi log on automatically without any issues saving me use of data plan/fees . Thank you. Superb product and I can’t express enough appreciation for circle app on netgear. I don’t haveto worry about my kids accessing websites not suitable for their age. Also it limits them to time allotted by me in their internet usage. I finally had control back in my household. I use the circle app to either reward them of good behavior or limit access which is a consequence for negative behaviors.

I bought the Netgear ac2300 after returning a linksys router that I bought because it was 52% off. The Netgear ac2300 is far better in every way. Set up is very simple and the coverage is excellent. The genie app is also a great tool to use. I’ve always been a Netgear fan and will continue to be when it’s time for another upgrade.

Me and my wife bought the netgear nighthawk AC2300 because we both game and stream movies and needed something faster then what was provided to us from our cable provider. We combined the nighthawk with the netgear CM1000 Ultra-High Speed cable modem with docsis 3.1. The setup with the nighthawk app is extremely easy and when setup it is extremely fast! No more looking at the loading screen, no more pausing during shows or freezing when gaming, both me, my wife and our son can play and watch TV in different rooms with no lag at all! My wifes parents also had me pick up the same setup for their house and no complaints from them. Also if your kid gets in trouble and is grounded, use the nighthawk app and cut off the signal to their device, its that simple. Would definitely recommend to everybody!
