With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

I’ve had this Nighthawk in my shopping cart for months before finally being able to pull the trigger and purchase. My intial purchase I had a small issue and had to return my unit but luckily I recived a new one within a day and have loved it since. I just changed to a separate router and I love this one!! We had an awful time keeping connections, especially when our family was here, but even sometimes when it was just my husband and I here..now we have NONE and I’m so thrilled!!! Not only that it starts really fast (lost power during a storm the other day that shut it off) and it was so easy to set up (I’m 70 and had no problems). I would recommend it to everyone!!
