With wireless data transfer rates of up to 2300 Mbps, the R7000P Nighthawk AC2300 Dual-Band Gigabit Router from NETGEAR is designed to offer the wireless bandwidth needed to stream multimedia content, download large files, and more all at the same time. The Nighthawk AC2300 also supports MU-MIMO technology providing multiple, separate data paths giving wireless users a dedicated connection to the network. Once configured, the R7000P supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi network standards and operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. If a wired connection is needed the Nighthawk also features four Gigabit LAN ports as well as a single USB 3.0 port and a single USB 2.0 port to connect compatible USB peripherals directly to the network.
The R7000P Nighthawk isn’t your ordinary router and it comes equipped with a variety of features designed to enhance your network including Dynamic QoS, Smart Connect technology, a variety of network sharing apps, configuration utilities, and security applications to ensure you get the most out of your Nighthawk R7000P. With Dynamic QoS the Nighthawk is able to prioritize network traffic to ensure bandwidth heavy tasks such as streaming video, gaming, and other data hogging applications operate smoothly. Additionally, Smart Connect technology is designed to ensure every device is connected to the fastest available Wi-Fi Band.

Nighthawk AC2300 is an awesome router for fast speed internet. We are pulling in 1gb fiber speed; and this router can handle those speeds just fine. We can stream tv service, play on phones, daughter can watch and stream YouTube and no glitches. I have nothing negative to say. If you have good internet service this router is a perfect fit.

Router works great only thing is if you happen to push the buttons on the front right side of the router and they get turned off you have to unplug the router and reboot it and wait for it to boot up and then hit and hold the button to get it to light up again which I think you should’nt have to unplug the router each time to get the lights to come on if you accidently push the buttons
